Speaking at the launch of Team Ireland Equestrian’s competition season on Monday, Horse Sport Ireland chairman Professor Pat Wall said Irish riders had a phenomenally important year ahead of them.

“We are very lucky to have the talented riders that we have in this country,” he said. “You are carrying the confidence of a lot of people and when you succeed, you give the whole sector confidence.”
