FRANKEL'S covering fee for 2025 remains at £350,000.
Although he lost his champion sire crown this year, the phenomenal stallion amassed 24 individual blacktype winners in 2024, of which 15 are group race winners, including the three Aidan O'Brien-trained fillies Lake Victoria, Bedtime Story and Exactly.
In the sales ring, Frankel achieved a personal best with a 2024 yearling average of £760,240 for 30 sold. Across all European yearling sales, he is the leading sire by average as well as siring the highest-priced yearling of the year in the northern hemisphere and topping Tattersalls October and Goffs Orby Yearling Sales. Frankel has, in fact, sired the sales topper at Tattersalls Book 1 in all of the last three seasons.
Frankel stands at Juddmonte's Banstead Manor Stud, alongside Chaldean, Kingman, Oasis Dream and Bated Breath.
Chaldean stood his first season at stud in 2024 at a fee of £25,000 and remains at that price for next season.
The 2000 Guineas winner got off to an excellent start covering 173 mares in the northern hemisphere. Of his first book of mares, 99 are blacktype performers or producers and he covered more group winners, stakes winners and blacktype performers than all other first season sires in Britain and Ireland.
A global sire in demand, Kingman enjoyed another extraordinary season consolidating his position as one of the northern hemisphere’s elite sires with two new classic winners – Elmalka and Sparkling Plenty, and a further Group 1 winner in Friendly Soul.
He sired 18 individual stakes winners and 11 group winners. His fee remains at £125,000.
Oasis Dream concluded his 20th breeding season this year with an impressive 93% fertility. His latest star performer is Group 2 Vintage Stakes winner Aomori City.
He is also a highly regarded broodmare sire of over 180 blacktype performers with 58 of his daughters having produced group winners, including 15 Group 1 winners.
He remains at a fee of £15,000 for 2025.
