RATHASKER Stud stallion Anjaal (by Bahamian Bounty) became the latest freshman sire to get off the mark when Ask Me Not made a winning debut over four and a half furlongs at Lyon Parilly in France on Thursday.
Theresa Marnane's colt is the first foal out of the unraced Dangerous Duo (by Intikhab) and he cost just €2,000 at the Goffs Open Yearling Sale in November.
His grandam, Serene Dream (by Oasis Dream), is an unraced half-sister to Group 3 Winter Derby scorer Tranquil Tiger (by Selkirk).
Galiway (by Galileo), Brazen Beau (by I Am Invincible), and Cable Bay (by Invincible Spirit) are the other freshman sires who have already had their first winner in Europe this year.
