A TOTAL of 1,106 lots have been catalogued for the Tattersalls November National Hunt Sale. Now online, the catalogue consists of 969 foals, 75 yearlings and 56 mares. Selling starts on Sunday, November 12th, and ends on Thursday, November 16th.
A day earlier, at 2pm on Saturday, November 11th, Tattersalls Ireland will stage a dispersal sale of Springhill Stud. Owned by the late Kieran Lennon, the draft will include 17 yearlings, 18 two-year-olds and a store.
The new format of the November NH Sale will see foals selling from 10am on Sunday, November 12th to Wednesday 15th. The sale of yearlings and mares will conclude the sale on Thursday, November 16th, commencing at 10.30am.
The foal sale features 88 foals out of blacktype dams, siblings to 62 blacktype horses and 21 to Grade 1 performers.
There are relatives to American Mike, Bellshill, Don Poli, Conflated, Tiger Roll, Shishkin, Wicklow Brave, Envoi Allen, Synchronised, No More Heroes and Teahupoo.
Siblings to Relegate, Zanahiyr, Lalor, Appreciate It, Impervious, Magic Daze, My Sister Sarah and Run Wild Fred are other potential highlights, along with progeny from leading mares Limini, Aura About You, Alletrix, Lackaneen Leader and Well Set Up.
The yearling session on Thursday offers a host of desirable lots and features siblings to blacktype horses including a half-sister to recent Grade 1 winner Banbridge, a half-brother to Sporting John, a half-brother to multiple blacktype winner Forge Meadow and a sibling to Grade 3 winner Party Rock.
Mares round off the sale on Thursday afternoon and once again leading consignors have supported this section with drafts from Ballincurrig House Stud, Clonbonny Stud, Closutton Stables and Martinstown Stud. Highlights include Cheltenham Festival winner Heaven Help Us (in foal to Walk In The Park), six-time winner Bonny Kate (in foal to Jet Away) and Beret Rouge, a two-time bumper winner in foal to Blue Bresil.
