THERE is plenty of choice in the first of the two catalogues issued by Tattersalls for the first week of the December sales at Newmarket. They are following the usual programme of offering 200 yearlings (the same number as last year) on the first day, Monday, November 25th, with an 11am start. Then the foals are from Wednesday to Saturday.

Sea Of Class was sold at this sale for 170,000 guineas in 2016 before she won the Irish Oaks and the Yorkshire Oaks and finished a very close second to Enable in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

Sires represented this year include Galileo, Dubawi, Frankel, Sea The Stars, Oasis Dream, Kingman, Kodiac, Lope De Vega, Acclamation, Gleneagles, Golden Horn, Invincible Spirit, New Approach. No Nay Never and Teofilo.

Among the yearlings are an own-brother to Lethal Force and half-brothers to Unfortunately, G Force, Regal Parade, Hooray and Always Hopeful.
