LIMERICK Racecourse will be seeking a new general manager in January following the news that Conor O’Neill is vacating the position after Christmas. O’Neill is moving to Punchestown where he will fill the commercial director post previously held by Liam Holton.

In July 2014 O’Neill arrived from Ladbrokes to take over at Limerick from Russell Ferris. One of the highlights of his tenure was the raceday lunch and auction in aid of Robbie McNamara which raised over €200,000 in November 2015.
