PHOTOGRAPHS inspired by the theme ‘Hoofbeats and Heartbeats’ will be on display at the Curragh Racecourse this weekend.

The photographers who took the shots are in line to win prizes from sponsors Bermingham Cameras.

The Curragh is also repeating its charity-pub sweepstake around Sunday’s Friends of the Curragh Irish Cesarewitch.

The initiative sees the 30 runners matched with a pub in Co Kildare and they in turn match themselves with a chosen good cause, charity or sports club. The first four horses home on Sunday will earn money for their allotted pub and charity or sports club. A total of €5,000 will be paid out to good causes.
