THE Irish Horse Welfare Trust (IHWT) invites you to their open day, which will take place on Saturday, August 3rd, at their premises in Woodenbridge, Co Wicklow.
It will run from 11am to 4pm with lots on offer to enjoy for the whole family, including the furry members. Apart from guided tours, they will be offering refreshments, games, raffle, live music, local arts and crafts, a dog show with prizes and much more.
The equine charity works to help the plight of neglected horses in Ireland and their aim for all equines is to rehabilitate and find suitable long term homes for them. They could not do this work without your support, which they very much appreciate.
On the day, you will have the opportunity to meet many of the rescue horses and ponies, along with some retiring racehorses, with the current incumbent being the legendary Sizing Europe and the renowned and magical Curly the Unicorn that was once a resident rescue himself. Everyone is welcome.
