FOR over 70 years, the Goldburn Beagles have been hunting in north Co Dublin and Co Meath, however, due to a change in circumstance they are no longer able to remain in their current kennels.
They are now looking to rent somewhere where they could kennel the beagles. They require any type of building, such as cattle, pig, sheep, loose horse boxes with some yard space.
The existing, fully-trained staff will continue to care for the beagles so no involvement will be required from the landlord.
Although the pack are looking for a long-term solution, they are happy to consider different short-term options if needs be.
The pack have a very strong following in the area and for anyone considering renting them kennels they will happily provide local farming and personal character references.
For anyone interested in seeing the beagles, they will be on show on Sunday, June 2nd at the Tattersalls International Horse Trials and Country Fair.
Unfortunately time is not on their side as they have to vacate the current kennels within the next eight weeks. If you have somewhere suitable or have any ideas, please contact the Goldburn Beagles on 083 349 5969.
