Boswell Equestrian charity show

EVERYONE is invited to Boswell Equestrian’s Charity Coffee All Day Show in aid of Our Lady’s Hospice and care services next week. All proceeds from the Co Wicklow show jumping event that will be held both in the morning and evening on Thursday, September 17th will be donated to the Hospice. The first competition starts at 10am and the second at 5.30am. All support welcome for this very worthy cause.

Reape third in league

AMY Reape was inadvertently omitted from last week’s Pony Premier report. The Co Sligo native, a daughter of well-known horse and pony producer Jonathon Reape, finished in third place in the league having been placed fourth in Galway, sixth in Ard Chuain and second in the final at the National Pony and Young Rider Championships.

Amy completes her time in the 128cms division at the end of this year but is already making her mark in the 138cms category with Spring Tour wins earlier in the season and a second place finish in the inaugural running of the Chillax League with her father’s six-year-old 138cms pony Youghal Paddy.
