THE Eventing Ireland calendar for 2025 will be back on track within a matter of days according to chairman Niki Potterton. As reported last week, crossed wires threatened to decimate the season with a number of event organisers pulling out of hosting one-day events.

The issues at play centred around insurance, entry fees and the fact that a planning meeting for event dates had not been held. However, The Irish Field understands that a meeting will be held in the coming days between the EI executive, the regional committees, the youth committee and the event organisers to make sure everyone is happy and to finalise dates for the upcoming season. It is hoped a new list of dates will be released by the end of next week.
