A VALUABLE horsebox stolen from Curragh trainer Ken Condon this week was found in a Dublin business park yesterday.

The trainer’s wife Pauline reported the theft on social media on Wednesday. “Our two-horse white Overlander truck with K.J. Condon written on it with purple/blue colours was stolen in Cloghan Inn, Westmeath today,” she posted.

The crime was reported to local gardaí and, on Friday, Ken Condon confirmed the vehicle had been located. “The box was located in a business park near Blanchardstown, along with two other stolen vehicles. It had false number plates fitted and all signage removed, so it was obviously earmarked for export. The guards carried out a forensic examination of the horsebox and it was ready for collection then.”
