FESTINA Lente provides an Equestrian Training Programme (ETP) for young people over the age of 16 years who will benefit from both an outdoor educational and learning environment and a longer period of time to acquire the programme content. Typically, potential students will have a general or specific learning disability with a variety of supports in place for each student. Students come from all over Ireland and local accommodation is available. Students receive a weekly training allowance and if living outside of the Dublin area will receive an accommodation and meal allowance. Following completion of their Level 4 Major Award in Horsemanship, ETP graduates may progress onto either further education or employment opportunities within the equine industry.

The Programme has a continuous in-take throughout the year with a number of places available at present.
