FIVE Irish trainees are among the latest intake of 12 cadets for the two-year Godolphin Flying Start programme.
The new class for the prestigious thoroughbred industry management and leadership programme also includes applicants from Morocco, Spain, India, New Zealand and Britain. They will commence the programme in Kildangan Stud in August.
The scholarship includes course fees, accommodation, transport, flights, visas and a monthly allowance. Trainees learn and experience hands-on horsemanship, business management, leadership, international bloodstock, breeding and racing, with phases in Ireland, the UK, the USA, Australia and Dubai.
The course is accredited by UCD’s Michael Smurfit Business School.
