Eric Gillie Ltd recently established a satellite base in Ireland for their in-transit horses/ponies to be rested either from their UK journeys to Ireland or before they go out to destinations around the UK. Having this facility centrally based in Co Tipperary, they can ensure the horseboxes can reach them there to rest the horses/ponies for a time before continuing their journeys to their destinations.

Gillie also offers a stabling facility for other transporters wishing to break the journey and this can be organised through our representative over there by contacting Philippa Gillie.

Boasting a new up-to-date premises with Dutch-style barn with 10 internal stables, external stables, outdoor enclosed exercise rings, external turnout paddocks, a loading bay for safe loading/unloading of youngsters, mares and foals, and 24-hour CCTV security. There is also a truck wash bay and stabling facilities for anyone wishing to break their journey in Ireland.

Eric Gillie Ltd transit weekly from Ireland to UK using our new state of the art Scania Oakley transporters ensuring all horses/and ponies have ample room for travelling, breaking the journey to rest arriving in first class condition.
