1.50 Leopardstown Golf And Driving Range Maiden 1m 1f

Finsceal Luas deserves to get her head in front, a quick return perhaps the only concern. It may not have been the strongest maiden at Punchestown, but Molto Amichi finished third despite running green against more experienced rivals, and should come on from that. Duchess Wannabe was also promising last time and should appreciate the extra furlong.

Auburn Avenue and Sportingsilvermine have a squeak on their best form.

SELECTION: FINSCEAL LUAS

Next best: Molto Amichi

2.25 Bahrain Turf Club Knockaire Stakes (Listed) 1m

Power Under Me won this in 2022 and comes here off the back of a fifth stakes win. Atlantic Coast was also a listed winner last time, and enjoys this ground, but isn’t the most consistent.

Course and distance winner Norwalk Havoc ran better than the bare result suggests in the Cambridgeshire, while Independent Expert is another who looks capable of landing a big one, as does Kayhana based on last year’s third in the Sovereign Path Handicap

Uncanny is the most inexperienced, but was impressive when winning her maiden last time.

SELECTION: POWER UNDER ME

Next best: Uncanny

3.00 Foxrock Cup Handicap 1m

Global Energy has a 7lb hike to overcome, which looks a tough ask, while Monasterboice seems capable of more. Alessia Fernanda and Gerrit’s Gem are both in good form, but may not be up to winning off their current marks.Orandi has finished second to smart horses the last twice and this looks an easier task

SELECTION: ORANDI

Next best: Monasterboice

3.35 Thomas’s Of Foxrock “Jim And Kathleen Murphy” Memorial Trigo Stakes (Listed) 1m 2f

Plenty in with chances here. Sunchart was second in this last year but carries a penalty for his listed win in March, while the fourth horse Layfayette ran well last time out. Euphoric has disappointed since his Group 3 second to Los Angeles here in May, and Spoken Truth failed to follow up in group company last time.

The same confusion applies to Irish Oaks fourth Elizabeth Jane, but she did impress here on debut. Fleur De Chine may not rate as highly, but is consistent, as is likeable course and distance winner Cristal Clere.

SELECTION: ELIZABETH JANE

Next best: Layfayette

4.10 Christmas Festival Tickets On Sale Now Handicap 1m 2f

Lots to like about Livio Milo’s course form, but the trip is questionable. That shouldn’t be a problem for recent winner Bear Profit, Master Dunraven or Gibbs Island, the latter placed in a premier handicap over the trip. Counterculture is worth a chance back down in class.

SELECTION: GIBBS ISLAND

Next best: Counterculture

4.45 Bahrain Turf Club October Handicap (Premier Handicap) 1m 4f

Listowel winner Soaring Monarch remains on a workable mark, while Akecheta’s seems a bigger ask. Masoun earned a step up in class after a stylish win last time. Aidan O’Brien is always feared in a handicap and Autumn Winter didn’t get a clear run in the King George V Stakes, beaten under four lengths.

SELECTION: SOARING MONARCH

Next best: Autumn Winter

5.20 Next Fixture Christmas

Festival Handicap 7f

Not the most inspiring contest. Speckled Meadow has progressed since her course win on her seasonal debut and gets the nod. The relatively consistent Summer Snow could enjoy this ground, but it may go against recent winner Selective Power.

SELECTION: SPECKLED MEADOW

Next best: Summer Snow
