THE Women’s Irish Network for Racing Summer Showcase continues next week and includes a Leopardstown course walk with Katie Walsh and a discussion with a panel of racing industry experts.

The event is free of charge and will be held on Friday, May 19th. Guests will be welcomed with an informal lunch and meet and greet, followed by some fascinating racing industry discussions chaired by Irish Country Living’s Amii McKeever.

Guests will be treated to some goodie bags and will then have the rare chance to walk the Leopardstown course with retired jockey and racing pundit Katie Walsh, top amateur jockey Aine O’Connor and racing operations manager at Leopardstown, Jane Hedley, before a wonderful evening of racing, including the Women’s Irish Network for Racing Ladies Handicap.

Guests will enjoy the races from the dedicated WINR area in Legacy Wine Bar at the parade ring where they can relax and grow their network, all while enjoying the thrill of racing at Leopardstown.

Joining the discussions will be Kate Hardy, director of operations at MyRacehorse, Jodi O’Donoghue of O’Donoghue racing, Clodagh Kavanagh, co-founder of WINR and executive director of the Godolphin Flying Start programme, Laura Magee CEO of Thoroughbred Country, Fiona Dowling of RACE and Amber Byrne, ownership manager for Horse Racing Ireland.
