NEXT Sunday will see the 17th running of the Irish Derby under Dubai Duty Free sponsorship.

The sponsor marked their 40th year in business last year with record-breaking sales of $2.16 billion.

Dubai Duty Free’s new managing director is Ramish Cidambi, and his wife Alpana is one of the judges for the best dressed competition on Irish Derby day. Lisa Hogan from television programme Clarkson’s Farm will head the judging panel, assisted by fashion writer Bairbre Power and Breeda McLoughlin of Dubai Duty Free.

Top prize is a trip to Dubai with flights and accommodation in the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel as well as a spending spree at Dubai Duty Free.

Dubai Duty Free has given The Irish Field five pairs of tickets for Derby day to give away.
