AN exhibition of paintings by sporting artist Daniel Crane will be on show at the Osborne Studio Gallery in Belgravia, London, from November 22nd until December 23rd.
Daniel Crane is one of the leading sporting artists in Britain and a fine horseman himself, devoted to foxhunting. Born in 1969, he was joint master of the Scarteen Hunt from 2014 to 2019. He mainly paints fox hunting scenes but occasionally works with racehorses and one of his best known works is a portrait of Frankel, perhaps the greatest racehorse of all time.
Legendary huntsman Chris Ryan said: “Daniel, consummate horseman and huntsman, can capture the wonderful bond between horse and huntsman, and hound and horse. Every painting shares a special moment.”
