I mean trainer interviews generally provide ‘ok’ content and maybe a handful of times a year are very interesting or memorable, but if the Racing channels just focussed on jockeys and pundits, I doubt many viewers would even notice, let alone care.

The fury about a few horses out for a spin yesterday like this was a new phenomenon. That is the game, get a horse handicapped to win a race. Am I missing something.

If anyone in racing want to know how to attract people to the sport they should have seen the parade ring at Cheltenham prior to CH’s race yesterday. It was as packed as during the Festival. People were there to see a superstar horse. Bring the great horses and people will come.
