THE Curragh Racecourse will host a seminar on flat racing and breeding before racing on Friday, June 30th.

Organised by the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association, the seminar will feature a panel consisting of Kevin Blake, Stuart Boman, Ado McGuinness, Jason Morris and John Oxx. Sally Ann Grassick with moderate the discussion.

Titled ‘Sprinters, Stayers & everything in between’, the seminar will cover topics such as breeding for different distances to suit market demands, challenges and opportunities around the flat breeding and racing sector, changing trends, as well as the current race programme and sales markets.

The event will provide breeders and attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with industry stakeholders throughout the day. Doors will open at 2pm and the seminar will commence at 2.30pm sharp.

Registration in advance for the seminar is essential but admission is free for ITBA, AIRO and IRTA members. As a bonus, attendees can stay for racing (starts 5pm), get a free racecard, and enjoy live music after racing. Association members are asked to quote their membership number or organisation when registering.
