THE Association of Irish Riding Clubs has announced that Connolly’s Red Mills will once again be title sponsor of the organisation’s national hunter trials, show jumping and dressage championships for 2025.

This welcome news marks 15 years’ consecutive partnership between the AIRC and the world-renowned Co Kilkenny high-quality animal feeds firm, highlighting Connollys’ ongoing commitment to grassroots equestrian sport in Ireland.

“Connolly’s Red Mills is proud to continue our partnership with the Association of Irish Riding Clubs and support riders across Ireland,” said Jane Davis, head of marketing at Connolly’s Red Mills. “AIRC members represent the grassroots of the equine industry, and these championships showcase the dedication and love for the sport within Ireland’s riding clubs. We’re delighted to be part of that journey. Over the years, we have built a fantastic partnership with the AIRC and have always enjoyed the spirit and energy that competitors bring to these events.”

The AIRC/Connolly’s Red Mills national hunter trials championships take place on Sunday, April 13th at Nuenna Farm, Freshford, Co Kilkenny, while Mullingar Equestrian will be the venue for both the national show jumping championships on Sunday, July 20th and the national dressage championships on Sunday, August 17th. Entries open for the hunter trials championships on Wednesday week, March 26th.

Once again, members are reminded that all horses must be registered with the AIRC to compete at national events. This can be done for free for the remainder of March but a charge of €25 will be applicable for any application from April 1st to June 30th.
