THE final breeze up sale of the season in Ireland or Britain takes place next Wednesday and Thursday but it’s a sale with a difference.

All bidding will be done online through the Tattersalls portal and the breezes have already been completed at Dundalk Stadium and can be viewed online.

At time of writing there are 20 juveniles engaged and they represent leading breeze up consignors Grangecoor Farm, Greenhills Farm, Grove Stud and Powerstown Stud. There are also drafts from Browne Brothers Bloodstock and Friars Lough Stables.

Possible highlights include a colt by Starspangledbanner consigned by Katie Walsh’s Greenhills Farm. P & C Bloodstock present a filly by Highland Reel out of Blue Cloud, already the dam of two blacktype performers to date including Encosta De Lago mare Empowering, winner of the Group 3 1000 Guineas Trial and the Listed Sweet Mimosa Stakes.

Brown Brothers Bloodstock will offer a filly by Phoenix Of Spain out of the Dubawi mare Dukinta, a half-sister to Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed Grandeur.

The catalogue also includes 15 horses in/out of training, a yearling by Tasleet and stallion share in Deep Impact’s Group 1-winning son, Tosen Stardom.

Among the horses in training for sale is Tears Of A Clown, a two-year-old filly by Pearl Secret who won by five lengths at Windsor on May 8th.
