ANDREW Porter, who plays as a prop for Leinster and Ireland, is a past member of the Shillelagh Branch of the Irish Pony Club and sent a surprise video to their 60th year celebration night last Friday in the Woodenbridge Hotel, wishing the Branch many more successful years in the future. Porter was, of course, busy on Friday night, lining out at tighthead prop in Ireland’s loss to New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
The 60th year celebration night will be covered in detail in next Saturday’s column.
