HSI stallion showcase cancelled
HORSE Sport Ireland (HSI) announced this week that the stallion showcase scheduled for today, April 12th, in Emerald Equestrian Centre has been cancelled. The event was funded under National Breeding Services by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and delivered by HSI.
HSI said: “Due to several late withdrawals and having assessed the level of remaining entries, HSI feels that the numbers are not viable to host the 2025 National Stallion Showcase. HSI want to ensure all events are worthwhile for breeders, spectators and suppliers. Therefore, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the stallion showcase and reassess for an event in 2026.”
