THE busy summer for Irish Pony Club members continues tomorrow when the Tipperary Branch holds its Connolly’s Red Mills eventing qualifier at Grove.

The annual mid-week qualifier, staged by the Killinick Branch at Sleedagh Farm, takes place next Wednesday, July 17th, and there are two qualifiers scheduled for next weekend – at Ballinamona Farm on Saturday (organised by the United and Carbery Branches) and at Frankfort Stud on Sunday (Island Branch).

Tomorrow, the East Antrim Branch of The Pony Club is hosting the Area 17 eventing at Lusk Equestrian and this will be followed by the Area Tetrathlon championships, which are being hosted by the Tullylagan Branch.

The swim and shoot phases are taking place in the Down Leisure Centre next Saturday morning, followed in the afternoon by the run phase at Hazeldene Farm, where the ride phase will be staged on Sunday.
