We’re devastated to hear of Michael O’Sullivan’s passing. Michael was our stable jockey but more importantly he was our friend and part of the family. He will be sorely missed in our yard and in racing. Our condolences to Michael’s family and friends. Rest in peace friend.

Just the worst news about Michael O’Sullivan. We say we know the risks, but those of us that are only ever sat on the sidelines continue to underestimate them. A promising young rider he was, a great man he’s robbed of the chance to be. RIP.

We are very sad to wake up to the news of Michael O’Sullivan’s passing. We had the privilege of sharing one of the best day’s racing with Michael when he won on Jazzy Matty at Cheltenham for Andy and Gemma Brown. We will never forget his smiling face that day. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

God bless you Mikey. You touched so many peoples hearts in your career. You where a fantastic rider. A wonderful young man who always had time for your fans. Your family and all the weigh room are so proud of you. R.I.P My friend

I think that all of us at some time or other have grumbled either privately or publicly about jockeys. But the sad death of Michael O’Sullivan should remind us all of the risks these people take for our entertainment, and that’s what it is entertainment. RIP Michael

How utterly tragic. Everyday, as a bookmaker, I am grateful not just to the game, but the jockeys who are so very brave and risk their lives day in day out. May Michael rest in peace and ride all of the winners and fulfil his potential at the racecourse in the sky...

Saying goodbye to you yesterday was the hardest thing that has happened to me in years, when we are adults we are expected to remain strong and dignified but in the end we are never really prepared to say goodbye to a friend... because I will never stop looking for your white cap among us all... so I prefer to say see you soon rather than goodbye Mickey
