Delighted to have been able to assist my friend @AndyLoChungYin in his purchase of Massive Sovereign, record breaking winner of @HKJC_Racing Derby ‘24 for owner Chan Kam Hung, trainer C H Yip under masterful rider @zpurton! An inspired 1st import for all involved!

Big question for the @BHAHorseracing @itvracing and the levy. If the Grand National has virtually no UK representation and certainly none from the UKs top trainers will there be any interest in the race? Who wants to watch the Theyestes or Irish National take place

Entry to the Grand National should be based on winning one of that years 50+ qualifying staying chases. Sussex Natl to the Becher, Thyestes to Kerry Natl. Ballot the entries from there.
No more 4m chasers dicking around in hcap hurdles & give added purpose to much of the season.

Just a quick one folks. The one thing in racing I will never do, is criticise any rides I see, amateur or professional. Because I have never sat on a horse in my life, I don’t feel qualified to do so. Simple as that.

Limestone Lad was a proper horse, a legend and a warrior and will be forever loved and remembered by racing fans. It was a wonderful story and great he lived all his 32 years in the one place with the Bowe family who did such a job with him on and off the track RIP champ.
