The catalogue for the Tattersalls December Foal Sale is out online now and will be available in print shortly. Numbering 1172 lots, the December Foal Sale will take place from Wednesday November 23rd to Saturday November 26th.

Europe’s premier foal sale boasts an outstanding catalogue, with no less than 153 foals by the current top 15 active British and Irish sires, and 209 by the current top 20.

The catalogue also features own and half brothers and sisters to 161 Group and Listed winners, including 11 Group 1 winners. These are headed by a Kingman half-sister to Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes winner Chaldean and half-brothers to this year’s Classic winners Cachet and Eldar Eldarov, by Mehmas and Lope De Vega respectively.

Chaldean, who was bought for 550,000 guineas by Juddmonte Farms at the 2020 renewal of the Tattersalls December Foal Sale, is out of the remarkable Dutch Art mare, Suelita, whose progeny include the Group 2 Mill Reef winner, Alkumait, the Listed winner The Broghie Man and the Listed placed due Get Ahead and Gloves Lynch.

Breeders Whitsbury Manor Stud will consign Chaldean's half-sister by Kingman, whose daughter Commissioning won the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile on Friday.

The Wootton Bassett half-brother to Group 1 Commonwealth Cup winner Golden Horde, the Kingman half-brother to Group 1 Nassau Stakes winner Lady Bowthorpe and the Invincible Army half-brother to this year’s Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner Lezoo are amongst other highlights. A Sea The Stars half-sister to Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes winning two-year-old Sakheer and Group 2 winner Lemista is another notable lot.
